Impacters Catholic One Day Conference will help you to discover practical ways that the bible teaches us to follow God with everything we have. Starting at 10am and concluding at 10pm on Saturday 11th of S…eptember 2010, Impacters is an event for all ages and will feature powerful and contemporary praise and worship and teaching that you can apply to your everyday life. As well as opportunities for group discussion, Impacters will give you an opportunity to take some time to reflect and focus on God and life.

Next Open Mic Night 15th September

We have had 2 fantastic open mic nights with great performances from all.

The next will be on Wednesday the 15th of September in the Parish Centre at St Kierans.

7pm to around 9pm

Help LIGHT raise $ for Pakistan Flood Victims…

This Sunday Morning coming (September 5th) we are looking for people to help cook a BBQ to serve following the 9:30am Mass at St Kieran’s.

We will be selling sausage sandwiches and drinks. Half the profits will go to the Pakistan Flood Aid and the other half will go towards funding for pilgrims for WYD11 Spain.

So we need help cooking and selling sausages from 10:15am-11am on Sunday September 5th. Can u help? If so contact Cameron Smit on cameron.smit@ozemail.com.au or on 0432 895 304.

Help us Support the victims of the Pakistan floods

This Saturday we will be having LIGHT. From 10:30am-12:30pm at St Kieran’s Church. We will be cooking sausage sandwiches for people voting at the Parish Centre for the election. We will sell the sandwiches for like $3 each and sell cans of drink too. We will keep half the profit to put towards WYD 2011 self-funded pilgrims and the other half will go towards the Pakistan Flood Aid.
So are you able to come and help cooks some sausages? You don’t have to come for the full 2 hours. It will be good fun bonding around the bbq and making a difference in our community. All ages welcome and you’ll get a free sandwich if you come
